A 30 minute interview at our premises to better understand your proposition, identify the structure you require and how to present the application to the BLA.
Following our Interview and acceptance of engagement, we will provide you with an information pack which will include information we will seek in order to present to the BLA and put your best case forward.
We will complete the application with the client. We will tailor the presentation to suit the designated structure.
Upon completion of the application we will review the application together with the client, to ensure clarity and understanding. We will also discuss with the client all the material they need to be aware of, including associated Acts of Parliament prior to sitting the test.
Upon satisfaction of the application we will submit to the authority and answer any queries they may have on the clients behalf. Should the BLA require any further information we will work with the client and provide in a timely manner.
The client will be updated ongoing as the application is addressed at differing intervals.

The Road Safety Act 1986 contains the definition of what a motor car is, but put simply, it is any vehicle that is propelled by a motor and intended to be used on our roads. It does not matter if it is in a working condition or not. The Motor Car Traders Act 1986 refers to cars as “complete or incomplete”.

Motor Car Auto Wreckers and Motor Car Recyclers (Car Pick Up Businesses) need to be licensed motor car traders in Victoria if they buy, sell or exchange more than 4 cars to metal recyclers, whether or not the car is in working order or registered.
Not complying with your legal obligations as a motor car trader may result in a number of fines and penalties as well as a negative impact on your ability to operate as a motor car trader in future.
